Cookie Manager
To obtain consent for the use of cookies on the website that are not technically necessary, the provider uses a cookie manager.
When the website is accessed, a cookie containing the settings information is stored on the user’s device, so that the consent request does not need to be displayed on subsequent visits.
This cookie is required to obtain the user’s consent in accordance with the law.
Users can prevent or stop cookies from being installed by adjusting their browser settings.
Cookies
a) Session-Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your device by the web browser you are using. These cookies process certain information about you on an individual basis, such as your browser or location data, or your IP address.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as it enables, for example, our website to be displayed in different languages or a shopping basket function to be provided.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for the purposes of entering into or performing a contract.
If the processing is not carried out for the purposes of entering into or performing a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis in such cases is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
These session cookies will be deleted when you close your web browser.
b) Third-party cookies
Where applicable, our website may also use cookies from partner companies with whom we collaborate for the purposes of advertising, analysis or the functionality of our website.
For further details on this matter, in particular regarding the purposes and legal bases for the processing of such third-party cookies, please refer to the information below.
c) Disposal options
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings in your web browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the steps and measures required to do this depend on the specific web browser you are using. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation for your web browser, or contact its manufacturer or support team. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented via your browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash Player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash Player you are using. If you have any questions, please refer to the help function or documentation for your Flash Player, or contact the manufacturer or user support.
However, if you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all features of our website are fully accessible.
Enquiries / How to contact us
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. Providing this data is necessary for us to process and respond to your enquiry – without it, we will be unable to respond to your enquiry, or will only be able to do so to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations preventing its deletion, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your web browser to us or to our web hosting provider. These so-called server log files record, amongst other things, the type and version of your web browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the page(s) on our website that you visit, the date and time of each visit, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is accessed.
The data collected in this way is stored temporarily, but not alongside any other data relating to you.
This data is stored on the legal basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, provided that no further retention is required for evidential purposes. Otherwise, the data will be excluded, in whole or in part, from deletion until the incident has been fully resolved.
General links to profiles on third-party platforms
The provider includes links on the website to the social media platforms listed below.
The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The provider’s legitimate interest lies in improving the user experience of the website.
The plugins are integrated via a linked image. It is only when the user clicks on the relevant image that they are redirected to the respective social network’s service.
Once the customer has been redirected, the relevant network collects information about the user. This initially includes data such as the IP address, date, time and the page visited. If the user is logged into their account on the relevant network at the time, the network operator may, where applicable, link the information collected during the user’s specific visit to the user’s personal account. If the user interacts via a ‘Share’ button on the respective network, this information may be stored in the user’s personal account and, where applicable, published. If the user wishes to prevent the collected information from being directly linked to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the button. It is also possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as ‘Google’.
The Google Analytics service is used to analyse user behaviour on our website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and commercial operation of our website.
Information relating to usage and users, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation feature. This feature ensures that Google truncates the IP address whilst it is still within the EU or the EEA.
The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an analysis of visits to our website and of user activity on it. This data may also be used to provide further services relating to the use of our website and the use of the internet.
Google states that it does not link your IP address to any other data. Furthermore, Google states under
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners
We have further information on data protection available for you, including, for example, details on how to prevent your data from being used.
Google also offers, under
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
a so-called opt-out add-on, along with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the most common web browsers and offers you greater control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) not to transmit information about your visit to our website to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. You can, of course, also find out in this privacy policy whether we use any other web analytics services and, if so, which ones.
Adobe Typekit
External fonts from ‘Adobe Typekit’, a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4–6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland, hereinafter referred to as ‘Adobe’, are used to display the font designs.
When you visit the provider’s website, a connection is established with the Adobe server to enable the font to be displayed or to update it. In doing so, data may be transferred to servers in the USA.
_____________________
However, according to the data protection supervisory authorities, the USA does not currently have an adequate level of data protection. Consequently, so-called standard contractual clauses are in place between the provider and Adobe for the transfer of data to third countries:
https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/eudatatransfers.html
However, these are agreements under private law and therefore have no direct impact on the access rights of the authorities in the USA.
_____________________
The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The provider’s legitimate interest lies in optimising and ensuring the efficient operation of the website.
This connection enables Adobe to identify the website from which a request is sent and the IP address to which the font is transmitted.
Adobe provides further information, in particular on how to prevent the use of your data, via the links below:

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising and ensuring the efficient operation of our website.
When you visit our website, the connection established with the FontAwesome server enables FontAwesome to determine which website your request was sent from and to which IP address the font should be delivered.
FontAwesome offers, under
https://fontawesome.com/privacy
further information, in particular regarding the options for preventing the use of data.
Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts on our website to display external fonts. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as ‘Google’.
To enable certain fonts to be displayed on our website, a connection is established with the Google server in the USA when our website is accessed.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising and ensuring the efficient operation of our website.
The connection to Google established when you visit our website enables Google to determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the font should be delivered.
Google offers under
https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated
https://policies.google.com/privacy
further information, in particular regarding the options for preventing the use of data.
OpenStreetMap
We use OpenStreetMap, a service provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB 4 0 WS, United Kingdom, hereinafter referred to simply as ‘OpenStreetMap’, for directions.
When you visit one of our web pages that incorporates the OpenStreetMap service, OpenStreetMap stores a cookie on your device via your web browser. This enables your user settings and user data to be processed for the purpose of displaying the page or ensuring the functionality of the OpenStreetMap service. This processing enables OpenStreetMap to identify the website from which your request was sent and the IP address to which the route details should be transmitted.
If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The legal basis may also be Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising and ensuring the efficient operation of our website.

YouTube
We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as ‘YouTube’.
We use YouTube in conjunction with the ‘Enhanced Privacy Mode’ feature to enable us to show you videos. If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The legal basis may also be Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the ‘Enhanced Privacy Mode’ feature ensures that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to YouTube’s server if you actually start playing a video.
Without this ‘Enhanced Privacy’ setting, a connection is established with YouTube’s server in the USA as soon as you visit one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is necessary in order to display the relevant video on our website via your web browser. In the course of this, YouTube will collect and process at least your IP address, the date and time, and the website you are visiting. A connection is also established with Google’s ‘DoubleClick’ advertising network.
If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube will associate the connection information with your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or adjust the relevant settings in your YouTube account.
For the purposes of functionality and to analyse usage behaviour, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device via your web browser. If you do not consent to this processing, you can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings in your web browser. Further information on this can be found above under ‘Cookies’.
Further information on the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and the safeguards available to you in this regard, can be found on Google’s website at
